DYDOE

Estimated time of healing: 5 - 7 weeks

This Piercing originates from South Eastern Asia and India. Quite often, two bars are inserted through the head of the penis, symmetrically and longitudinally through the corona, although you may also choose to have a single bar pierced into this location.

Most of all, a Dydoe is suitable to a cut penis. Due to pressure arising from the foreskin, an uncut penis - pierced in this way - may slowly experience a skewing of the jewel(s).  If the corona of the penis head is not sufficiently full-grown, such a Piercing may also be too weak to resist the impact of intercourse, thus implying the risk of being torn out.

Bars with small balls are most suitable as jewels, particularly during the period of healing. Some men do prefer small rings as soon as the Dydoe is completely healed and consolidated. A Dydoe may enhance the sexual stimulation of the female during intercourse, and the male may experience increased sensibility of the penis head. Some men with a cut penis - having lost quite a lot of the sensitivity here, due to the always exposed head of the penis - may even experience the Areturn of much wanted sensitiveness.
