A location at these membranes implies a poor chance of proper healing, due to the constant movements of the jewel and the exposure to microorganisms and as well as to dirt. Accordingly, this piercing will most probably never be any source of pleasure, but rather an infectious nuisance.
Should the healing on the other hand be successful, then you may experience that the jewel suddenly becomes torn out or it may simply be rejected, leaving a scar.
