Clitoris
Time of healing: 2 - 8 weeks.
A
jewel at this location is said to result in an enhancement of the sexual
stimulation, and in a few cases even to such an extent that some women claim
that they were unable to get any orgasm, before they were pierced through the
clitoris. Should this be true, it may very well turn out to be a somewhat
short-lived advantage, since the body is likely to adapt to the new situation,
the extra sensitivity gradually fading away.
The initial phase of the healing should be relatively uneventful. However, the size and the configuration of the clitoris both are quite variable in between women. It may be more or less hidden by the foreskin. In some individuals, it=s quite difficult or even impossible to insert a jewel here. Some may experience unpleasant or painful pressure on the foreskin due to such a piercing.
Unfortunately, such a Piercing may turn out to be a disaster in a more long-term perspective. Even though the jewel is placed exactly as it should be, a mechanism of rejection may start, slowly leaving more and more scar tissue behind, where once the metal was placed. A worst case scenario is the transformation of the clitoris head into a numb lump of connective tissue.
Therefore, this piercing is not performed in our studio.
Most frequently, a horizontal jewel through the clitoris is a small ring having an inner diameter of 7-10 mm. A rod is also an option, although such a jewel is the preferred choice in case of a vertical piercing here.
