Uvula
Time of healing: 4 - 6 weeks.
This Piercing is quite uncommonly performed.
This is explained by a number of reasons:

1. Technically, the customer must be able to sit motionlessly and avoid throwing up, when the uvula is manipulated.
2. It is quite difficult to insert a jewel here, since the piercer must be able to have both his hands inside the mouth, in order to grasp the jewel and fix the ball(s) onto the ring or the bar.
3. There are considerable risks in conjunction with a piercing at this location. Acutely, severe bleeding or swelling may occur, possibly leading to a blockage of the airways and suffocation. More permanently, irritation of the throat may be a daily experience, in addition to a dysfunction of the swallowing reflex and an easily evoked vomiting reflex. Furthermore, you may encounter blurred speech, snoring, and sleep apnoea.
In short: We do not perform such a Piercing.
